    Ingredients

  • 1 green apple, chopped
  • 1 package pre-made pie crust
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • Step 1

    Chop apple into small pieces.

#SpoonTip: Squeeze the juice of one lemon on the pieces to keep them from browning.

  • Step 2

In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and flour and mix together with your hands.

  • Step 3

Add water to the mixture and mix with a spoon until well combined.

  • Step 4

Add apples to the mixture and microwave on high in 2 minute intervals for 8 minutes until the apples are soft.

#SpoonTip: If the mixture is getting dry, add a teaspoon of water.

  • Step 5

On a floured surface, unroll pie crust and cut into strips. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 15 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown.

#SpoonTip: Keep an eye on the chips because pre-made pie crusts all cook at different rates.

  • Step 6

Squeeze the juice of one lemon on the chips and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar. Dip, nae nae, enjoy.
